people were writing “hot or not” lists on the bathroom stalls when i was in 8th grade and the dean of students came on the morning announcements and said something i will never forget “we’ve got some bad apples at this school… and it’s applesauce season"
This is the reason why my blog is dead now, because I’ve been marked as an explicit blog and I can’t change it, despite talking to @staff to fix the issue. (I don’t think I have anything explicit even on here). I just do fan art. Now no one can see my posts or search me up.
This is a problem. Especially for people like me and other content providers who’ve been erased from any new audiences. The fact that I have no control over my blog being marked explicit or not is even worse. I’m seriously considering a new platform at this point.
In spite of their established personas being essentially complete opposites, literally every single one of John Mulaney’s high school anecdotes sounds like something Mae Borowski from Night in the Woods would do.
behold one of my favorite animatics i’ve ever seen
sometimes i feel like pushing out media/social content like this on a website populated primarily by artists and designers is really disrespectful, but mostly it’s just embarrassing. i would imagine tumblr’s #1 priority right now isn’t a cutting edge graphic design team to push out stuff like this, but god damn man look at this 1998 geocities fucking powerpoint animation these guys created for the year 2018. this is just fucking comical
this project had to have been sent back to the designer for revisions at least once. the revision had to say something like, “Yeah, can we jazz this up a little? Maybe an underline on the text? I don’t know, give us something.” and the dumbfuck designer here couldn’t figure out how to do underlined text so he just applied the ascii underline text effect to each individual word
