Hey @ Wikipedia, if you could not list a trans person’s deadname right after their name that would be great.

Hey @ literally every piece of media in the universe you too

Excellent news! Editors who retain deadnames in articles are violating Wikipedia’s Gender Identity guidelines, at least implicitly. You are fully empowered to, and absolutely should, remove any deadname you find on Wikipedia. Editors who tell you otherwise are simply incorrect, and you should refer them to the relevant entry in the Wikipedia Manual of Style.

BOOOOOST

not to be that person but i’m really tired of “pearl hates the irish” memes because Pearl’s dad is heavily irish-coded and the show has gone out of its way to display the loving father-daughter relationship between pearl and mr krabs, there have been so many episodes about mr krabs doing selfless acts for his daughter but y’all still say “pearl hates the irish” because u don’t want to see healthy family relationships in media, you just want to demonize the only well written and complex characters 🙄

Fact: bisexuals make up a majority of the LGBT population.

Fact: the majority of bisexuals are closeted.

Theory: If all bisexual people came out, straight people would no longer be the majority.

Do we really make up a majority? Cause the way we’re erased i had no idea. Like really. I thought we were in minority…

The Human Rights Commission of San Francisco released a groundbreaking report on Bisexual Invisibility in 2010 which revealed that, even though only 28% of bisexuals are out (compared to 71% of lesbians and 77% of gay men.) bisexuals out-number gays and lesbians combined, Many studies have followed which verify this data.

There’s also been several studies that have shown that a large percentage of millennials don’t consider themselves exclusively attracted to one gender

Whaaaaat.

Bisexual Invisibility more like Bisexual Invincibility

reblogging for the last comment

I’ve had a lot of bi people tell me “I thought bisexuality was almost nonexistent?” when I brought this up.

Bisexuals make up the majority of the LGBTQ+ community and a huge percentage if not the majority of people in general.

It’s easy to feel like you’re alone if you’re bi or questioning. The most powerful thing we can tell bi youth is ‘you are not alone’. It’s what saved my life as a kid.

All my bi siblings are more than welcome here!!! I love yall!

I really wish there was an option on those Customer Service Surveys that says specifically, “The representative I spoke to was lovely and helpful and deserves all of the raises but I think that you, as a corporation, should die in a fire.”

hey as somebody who works in one of those companies that sends out those surveys, never, NEVER mention how much you hate the company in them. just talk about the representative. then, go to the company’s social media page and blast your bad reviews there

those surveys decide our pay, they decide whether we get bonuses or not, they decide if we get to keep our jobs or not. i’ve read transcripts on surveys where it’s has been praising the representative but mentioned one bad thing about the company. that fell to the representative because they should have been enough to sway the customers opinion.

Hey just to add on, if you liked the representative, and the survey is asking for opinions on a scale of 0-10… please give the rep 10′s across the board.  Don’t try to be thoughtful and detailed and put down a 7 or an 8 or a 9.  A lot of times anything below a 9 or 10 counts as a zero (no, for real) and guess who it comes back to?  That’s right, the customer service rep.

At my job anything below a 10 is zero and our store is graded on our survey % so if anyone even puts 9s across the board it’s a 0 in the end and heavily brings down our stores score- which can lead to firings,

corporations: more horrible than i thought

Reiterate: Always score those surveys as 10s. Blast the company itself on social media.

This is the same for retail and food workers on the 5 point scale. Anything below 5 is considered failing and can affect our hours, our bonuses, and if we’re considered for promotions later on. Always take the survey, always rate high unless they really, truly were awful.
