Honestly, I hate to gatekeep pet ownership, but if you hear the words “a dog can survive on a vegan diet, but will probably not thrive on it” and your immediate reaction is “cool, so I can feed my dog vegan!” then you shouldn’t have a dog.

No ifs or buts about it, you just shouldn’t have a dog. Give it to someone else.

It’s not the “weird-gendered” kids who are at fault for transphobia. Transphobes do not care that you’re a “normal” trans person. Genderfluid, genderqueer, or otherwise nonbinary people existing does not cause or exaggerate transphobia, nor does it minimize the trans experience.

This is a division tactic meant to break the community. The fact that you do not see that and then villainize other people is a problem.

Someone: vegan diets aren’t cruelty free

Vegans springing from the earth: oh so omnivory IS cruelty free huh? You think vegans are subhuman??? You want us all to die???? Carnists are superior? IS THAT WHAT YOU’RE SAYING???

God this. So sick of seeing posts that make the good point that vegans diets aren’t cruelty free (despite them claiming constantly they are) only to have a hoard of v*gans start saying “well non-v*gans eat those foods too! So it’s no just us!!” Like they think they’re hitting back when they’ve missed the entire point which is no ones diet is “cruelty free” because of the capitalistic society we live in.

Ok but at least vegans reduce their cruelty compared to meat eaters? I don’t get why it would bug you for someone to want to end animal suffering and make the world a better place..

Nope they literally do not and the fact you think they do means you lack a basic understanding in how a capitalistic society works and how animal welfare works.

The real people making a difference in animal cruelty are the people working to improve animal welfare that are majority made up of vets, zookeepers, scientists, ag workers / farmers and so on. All the animal welfare regulations and acts that are enforced now have been so by the hard work of people involved in animal welfare work. The most vegan ARAs have done is tell lies and twist fact, do nothing and the act like they’re morally superior for doing. That’s why it “bugs” me.

Nothing annoys me more then having some smug vegan that does nothing more for animal welfare then avoiding buying animal products (majority of which actually go on to do things that actively harm animals) tell me, a zoologist with a degree in conservation working with honeybees and has experience in animal ag, blatant lies about animal ag industries and how they do more for animal ag.

it’s fact that veganism does nothing in reducing the use of animal products and it’s just a massively group of people collectively having a self-wank over “helping animals” while they do literally nothing to help animals.

discussing headcanons with friends like: “what if santa was a pillarman”

SANTA WAS A PILLARMAN

  • He’s immortal
  • He gets down chimneys by contorting himself like santana
  • SANTAna
  • what more evidence do you need
  • He is actually buff
  • He only comes out at night
  • He also has presumably immortal minions and a chariot-like vehicle

“Hey, can you put on some Christmas music?”

“yeah sure mom”
