Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer is such a stupid fucking Christmas story. Rudolf gets born with a red flashing nose and his mom and dad and even fucking Santa Clause is like “ew he’s different” and then everyone makes fun of his ass and excludes him to the point where he runs away with some twink. And the story builds up with all these “misfits” being friends thinking “oh they’re gonna realize to accept their differences regardless” or somethin. But that doesn’t happen until Rudolf proves himself by being by using his difference to help Santa. Like what kinda fucking lesson is that? Oh it’s ok to have differences as long as you’re useful to society.
Like all the Christmas stories got good lessons. The Grinch is about how Christmas shouldn’t be about material goods and instead about being together. Frosty the Snowman is about friendship or some shit. A Christmas Carol is about not being greedy and giving out of the love in your heart to the less fortunate. Santa Clause is Coming to Town is about doing that right thing if that means committing crimes. But then the Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer be like “oh if you’re different then you’re disgusting and society’s gonna treat you like shit unless you can be even more useful than everyone else :/“
If I was Rudolf I would’ve be like “no Santa, you skinny ass bastard, I’m not gonna guide your sleigh tonight. Maybe you and the rest of the North Pole should’ve thought about that before discriminating against me for having a funny looking nose and being homophobic against that gay twink elf just cause he wants to be a dentist.”
