tbh the whole culture of rejecting all things mainstream and subsequently viewing everyone who doesn’t as below you really fucking annoys me. like, yeah it’s good and at times necessary to be critical of what you consume, but like, things like pumpkin spice lattes and Taylor Swift songs and the like aren’t hurting anybody. People deserve to be allowed to enjoy things without worrying about being ridiculed for being “basic” or whatever.
